Export and brokerage
We buy FAS at ramps and ports across the United States and Canada, and handle the buyer, the booking and the paperwork.
Export without the complexity
Exporting scrap metal is intricate: finding the buyer, agreeing terms, meeting the destination market's regulations, booking containers and documenting the shipment. Blue Star Alloys does this every week. We buy and export H13, D2, 4340, chrome, moly, nickel and vanadium-bearing scrap, and electric motors, and we run the whole chain from purchase to vessel.
Our goal is the highest value for your material. We research the market, identify and vet buyers, negotiate terms and keep the shipment compliant with export rules. On logistics we work with established shipping lines to secure container bookings and manage loading at the ramp or port.
FAS buying, nationwide
We buy Free Alongside Ship at all ramps and ports throughout the United States and Canada. Deliver the material to the ramp and the booking, loading and shipping are ours. For suppliers who prefer it, we also purchase delivered to Livonia.
